Driver with AWD fuel efficient small truck (with toll transponder) available for local or long distance transport, including cargo if needed (small 4 door pickup truck). Can do one time or regular drives, evenings out (designated driver), door to door concert or sporting event, airport runs, medical appointments, etc. Need a trip to New York City, Boston or Hartford, CT for a meeting? I can drive you, provide door to door service, and wait until you are ready, then drive you home. Lost your license and need to run some errands, or to be driven daily until your license is restored? I have done that, too. Need to bring a car to someone many miles away and need a ride home? I can assist with that.

About me: 65, non-smoker, non-drinker, semi-retired, undaunted by foul weather, no problem driving in large cities nor off the beaten path. Vehicle is a Honda Ridgeline (small 4 door pickup) can transport up to 4 passengers, and items that will fit in the bed of a small pickup. I do have a tonneau cover to protect your items in foul weather.

Why I started this: About 10 years ago, I bought a vehicle online about 5 hours away in a small town not served by any train, bus, or airport. I could not find anyone to drive me to get my car, and having it shipped would have been cost prohibitive. No one in my family would drive me because my grandson was due to be born any minute and they didn’t want to miss his arrival. I spent way too much on a combination of train and taxi rides (no Uber near this place) and I couldn’t believe that there wasn’t a service like this. Sometimes, I bought an appliance or something too big to fit in my car and thought this would be cheaper than renting a truck. I am somewhat handicapped and can only offer marginal assistance with loading or unloading.
